Thanksgiving Wine Tag

Hello everyone, Michelle here with you today, with a really pretty wine tag for Thanksgiving!

Instead of making the typical fold over type wine tag that you usually see, I have made mine using a Kraft Bookmark, instead.  I stamped some of the poppies from Poppy Field Summer using a Fall Leaves Kaleidacolor pad.  The label and sentiment are both from the new Handmade Holiday Gift Tags set, which I simply stamped and trimmed out.

I tied a piece of ribbon through the hole in the top of the bookmark so it can be hung over the top of a wine bottle.  Such a quick and easy gift to take to your Thanksgiving dinner!

Thanks for stopping by,

Michelle

Thanksgiving Place Cards

Hi! Chrissie here today with a fun Thanksgiving Project! I made multiple place cards so I'm ready for our Turkey Day dinner (it's less than a month away!!!). I made these assembly line style, which really made this go fast. I used images from my Falling for Autumn set.

Because I knew that I would be cutting the pumpkins out, I colored them messily.  I used the large end of my marker to save some time and then went back in with the smaller end for the details.

I cut a mask out of a Post It and stamped the leaves on the side of the card.  Then I colored them in.  I like the subtle look of the colors on the Kraft.

Finally, I used my scoreboard to add the embossed line on the top and side of the card.  I attached the pumpkin using foam adhesive and I stamped the hearts from Winter Pocket Fillers.

Once we know who is coming to our little Thanksgiving soiree, I will add the names in.  In fact, there is a PERFECT SP set coming out  November 10 for this step.  You are going to love it!!!!

Thankful for you

Hello, stampers! Amber here today with a card for Thanksgiving week at SP. I used the leaf from the Vintage October: Falling for Autumn set to stamp my kraft background.

All the patterned papers are from Echo Park's This & That Charming 6x6 pad. I added some burlap ribbon and this Orange Chevron twill ribbon.  This twill ribbon is new to the SP store and is SOO gorgeous!

I clustered some fussy-cut leaves from Falling for Autumn and a homemade acorn. If you are not a fussy cutter then Sami's got you covered with some svg files for this set. That sentiment is also from the Falling for Autumn set.

And then I just loved the tag from the EP Fall Fever paper that I had to add it. It's not even part of the paper but rather the name strip at the bottom.

THANKS to all of you for stopping by today!

Thankful For You Card

Hi everyone! Samantha here with a thankful card for you. I am kicking off Thanksgiving/Thankful Week here at the SP Stamps Blog.

My project features the beautiful Vintage October: Falling for Autumn stamp set.

I colored in the pumpkin using Copics and  then matted it on a piece of orange cardstock.  I added a banner shape & stamped it with a coordinating sentiment from the same stamp set.

To make the fancy background, I used an embossing folder on some brown cardstock.

The card base was made out of a piece of orange cardstock, the same color as the mat around the pumpkin image.

Here is a speed coloring video showing you how I colored the pumpkin and the shadow:

Here is a closer look at the pumpkin and sentiment. So cute!!

Oh So Spooky! (And Blog Candy!)

Hi Everyone...it's Guest Designer Sonya here with an "Oh So Spooky" Halloween card.  It features an awesome SP&Company stamp set, Bold Sentiments II Holidays, which is just perfect for this time of year.  This stamp set includes several sentiments appropriate for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and even some to ring in the New Year.

Check out my "spooky" scene:

To create this scene, I simply die cut a few Halloween shapes--the tombstone, fence and requisite black cat.  I added a little color by adding striped paper to the piece with the sentiment.  Do you notice a little shine to the sentiment?  I used heat embossing when stamping the "So Spooky-Happy Halloween" stamp to add even more dimension to the card.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Now for something not so spooky....head over to MY BLOG and find this same card.  Leave me a comment there and you'll be entered to win Handmade Holiday Gift Tags, which was just released by SP&Company earlier this month.  A big thank you to Sami for donating this awesome stamp set for me to give away as blog candy!

I hope you have an awesome day!
Hugs,
Sonya

Owl always love you!

Amber here today and I am so happy to be using September's Vintage October: Falling for Fall set. I love the cute little images and couldn't wait to ink up this little owl and sentiment:

I created my background by repeatedly stamping Hearty Hearts background in several autumn colors. All the stamps in this heart set just line up so easily. Please don't think you need to only use this set in February with red and pink!

I tied coordinating Twinery Twine in Marigold, Mandarin, Cappuccino, and Charcoal to match my ink.

I paper-pieced the owl and placed him on a branch. I almost put the sentiment on a banner but stopped myself. I'm trying to not use banners on every card! But I needed a way to make the owl say this. Then it hit me. A word bubble! Duh.

Thanks for stopping by today!
