Getting More Out of Clear Stamps!

Hi!
Chrissie here today! It's the last day of August - where did the time go?!??! The Poppy Field Summer set is so versatile and I'm thinking Fall already, so I wanted to make a fun, CAS card using that set!

I used Distress Inks so the images would have a more worn-look, not solid.  I just love the way they came out! And here's a hint: remember with clear stamps, you can curve your stamps at your will! So, for this card, I curved the poppies to the way I wanted them!!!

Just one more reason why I love clear stamps!!!

I finished the card off with a bow and a sentiment from Even Bolder Sentiments: Happy Day.  The background paper is So Happy Together.

A little (BIG) Hello Card

Hi everyone! Samantha here & today I have a clean and simple card for you. This one is super colorful although it started with a plain white sheet of cardstock. This is also a ONE layer card, which is lots of fun.

For the hello, I used some big alphabet stamps & just colored in the letters,  but you could use any large letters you have on hand for this one --die cut shapes, stickers, chipboard, Thickers, etc.

I did a cool little technique with my SP Stamps. The original sentiment is a one line sentiment that says "Just a little note" and it is from the Just a Note stamp set. I decided to CUT my stamp into pieces! Yes, you heard that right, I CUT the stamp apart!!

The great thing about clear stamps is that they are super easy to cut apart. I just used my regular crafty scissors to cut between the words. How I have three separate stamps: "Just a", "little", and "note".  I can now stamp them separately or together very easily.

Since my sentiment is large and graphic, I just needed a little accent to go on the card so I decided to add a strip of washi tape along the top.

Beautiful Birdie

Vera here today! I have been blessed with a close knit family and I especially have a very close relationship with my mom. And, when I was thinking of what kind of card to create, I thought I need to tell my mom more often how I feel and thus come this card.

Supplies:
Sentiment from For Every Woman set
Patterned paper Blissfull Flower from Echo Park Sweet Days  collection

Using bird on a card is one of my favorite things to do! I simply love the way this card turned out. It's quick and easy, too. After adhering the panel to the card, I adhered a strip of paper for the border. Then once I die cut the bird, I traced the bird outline with Copic marker before adhering it to the card. Stamped the sentiment and add pearl sticker for the eye.

I know my mom will love this card. :) Enjoy your day and thank you for stopping by here.

Sympathy Note Card Set

Hi, everyone!  Kelli here today with a note card set that uses the Poppy Field Summer stamp set.  I really enjoy making note cards and having them hand for gifts, possibly baked goods for these sympathy cards or just because.  The blue, pink and green all use a different flower stamp so this helps to add something a little different to each card while keeping them all similar if you wanted to give the set of them as a gift.  I made the yellow one to show that you don't have to stay with similar colors when doing the rock and roll technique.  I chose my base color to be yellow, but then a light pink and purple for the outside edges.  You can basically do this with any combo, you just want to make sure that you stamp your lighter color first and then roll your stamp in the darker color.  This just helps to keep your lighter ink pads from getting ruined.  I stamped the same sentiment each time in black so that it would stand out and show up over the colored flowers.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  :)

Rainbow Poppies

Hello, it's Michelle here with you today.  I have been playing more with Poppy Field Summer, and have a really pretty, CAS card for you that you can whip up in no time!  I don't know about you, but with the kids back in school and all of their activities starting back up again, free time is precious.

This is a one layer card (easy to mail!), that I stamped a couple of different poppies from the Poppy Field Summer set with a Kaleidacolor pad.  The one I used is called Luau.  I inked each set of flowers in opposite directions on the pad, just so the two didn't appear to be colored the exact, same way.  I then took the sentiment stamp from the Sympathy and Care set, inked it up with some black ink and stamped it directly over the flowers.

With some CAS designs like this in your arsenal, you will almost always have the time to put something nice together when you need it!

Happy Stampin',

Michelle

Thanks for being you

Hi, stampers! Amber here with a simple little card using one of my favorite older stamp sets For Every Woman.

I stamped the big flower 3 times and then the sentiment. And I really like the way it looked so simple and black and white. But I just couldn't leave it alone! So I then stamped and fussy-cut a fourth flower. I very lightly colored for just the slightest bit of color and then popped it.

I just added some twine to finish it off and that's it! I really love the way that repeating a single stamp can have so much impact on your card.

Butterfly Kisses!

Hi! Chrissie here today and I have a very Clean and Simple (CAS) card to share! I normally feel like I need more, so I don't go this route, but I was creating it while scrapping with a friend and she told me it was perfect the way it was!!! So, I left it alone!

I die cut a butterfly and stamped the Bold Houndstooth background on it.  I adhered it with foam adhesive to give it some dimension.  Then, I masked off part of the sentiment from Artsy Heartsy so just the "Kisses" showed up.

So, it reads "Butterfly Kisses".  Get it?  :-)

Thanks for stopping by!
