Candy Trees? Yes, Please!

Hello friends, Michelle here today.  It's Halloween week, and I could not be happier about that.  I LOVE Halloween!  Not just a little....A LOT!  OK.  I will stop gushing now.

For this card today, I used Boutique Sign Mini.  Now, you might be thinking "I don't see anything that even resembles the boutique sign.", and you are right!  But, if you look closely at those little candy "trees", you will see the little boutique sign hanger that comes in this stamp set.

Ever since I got that stamp set, I have always thought that the hanger looked like it could be a vine, or a tree, and I finally got to use it that way!  I stamped it three times, varying the height, in some purple ink.  I used some really cool dimensional stickers for the fruit, or candy, of the trees.  Cool, huh?  They remind me of something you would see in a Dr. Seuss book.

Now, at the tops of my trees, you can see that I had a little extra ink show in between the actual design.  No worries!  I decided to leave it, because it just added a little extra "swirl" and made each of them look a little different.  See...."mistakes" don't have to be bad!

Since I love Halloween so much, I have an extra project over on my blog for you today.  Here's just a little sneak peek...

Happy Halloween week!
