Let's get this party started!

Hi, everyone!  It's Kelli and today I have a birthday card to share with you using the Swirly Doos stamp set and some fun paper balloons!  All the patterned paper I used is from the Echo Park - Everyday Eclectic 6x6 paper pad.

The balloons were really simple to make.  I used a couple circle punches for the main part of the balloons and then a small flower shaped punch for the little part at the bottom where the knot would be.  I taped some embroidery floss to the backs of the balloons for the strings.  I layered them with dimensional adhesive so that they'd pop off each other.  The pink one is on one layer and the outer two are on two layers.

I added some sewing around the main matte and the pieces the sentiments are on.  I thought it helped tie in the strings of the balloons and just because I've been having a blast sewing on cards with my new sewing machine!  It goes at a snail's pace so that I can get somewhat even stitch lines, haha!  :)
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!
