Bright Kiddo

Hi, everyone!  It's Kelli and today I have a notecard to share with you that uses the Mix 'n Match Sentiments: Kids set!  I stamped 'for' and 'the' and then cut them out by hand so that they would be small enough to pop up on the circle.  The yellow layer was actually done using a scalloped circle punch.  You first punch out the scallop, then temporarily adhere it to a scrap piece of printer paper and insert it back in the punch but offset the scallops and punch again.  Then you'll have the cool sun shape!  All the patterned paper used for this card came from the Echo Park - Dots & Stripes Candy Shoppe 6x6 paper pad.

For the circle embellishment I added a little heart with Glossy Accents and drew some white gel pen stitch lines around the edge.

I love that you can mix and match your own sentiment with this set because this allows you to easily stamp each word in different colors.  I stamped bright in orange so it would stand out.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!  :)
