Using a Template

Hi everyone - Vicki here.  Today I am showing you how to get the sponged look using a template.

Let's start with the finished card:

This is an example of the different templates I use for sponging.  I love that you can re-use them over and over


I wanted a use the mustache shape.  I used the reverse SVG cut, and using a dauber, I sponged 3 different shades of green.  [When sponging, always sponge in circles to get an even coverage, starting OFF the image].
To add a little interest, I stamped with Houndstooth Background.

and, the finished card one more time:  [I used Sympathy & Care Stamp Set]


I really like the effect of this sponged look.  What is so fun, is really, you can use any shape you want!
