Punch Your Art Out

Hello again everyone, it's Michelle here today with another project for you.  My project today is featuring punched shapes as the focal point of the card.  I was a punch collector for years before I actually started using them a lot.  They were a bit of a nemesis for me, and I could never seem to work them into my projects and like the results.  Luckily that is changing now and I have developed quite a love for my punches!  Good thing too, because I have a lot of them, LOL!

In this card, I used three punched hearts as the focal point of my card instead of a stamped image.  I punched them from Little Boy Collection - Sailboats, and I am not actually sure who makes that striped paper.  I attached them to my kraft card base that I stamped some hearts from Hearty Hearts in some VersaMark ink.  The center heart is up on a foam dot so that it stands out more than the others.  I stamped my sentiment from Sympathy & Care with some brown ink on cream cardstock and trimmed the ends to make it look like a banner that extends out over the sides.

Happy Stampin',

Michelle
