Stamping on Vellum

Hello Everyone Patty here!
Today I will show you how to make a sweet card stamping on Vellum using your SP Stamps
Let's get started:
Gather all the supplies you will need: SP Stamps, ink, card stock, paper, vellum, stylus, soft mat, glue dots, dies and trimmer - and if you like me will gather more stuff and then later change them!!

I use Rain Boots set which I think is perfect for friendship cards. I inked the Boots with pink ink and make the impression on my die cut vellum.

To make the boots more attractive, I added some circles to it, using the little circle stamp from the same set - see this set is a great choice!!

I decided that in order to make the circle more attractive I would emboss it using my stylus and the soft mat - and softly push it from the back- doesn't it look cute? I also made the impression of the sentiment that I was going to use on a vellum strip already cut.
Tip: Let the ink impression on the vellum dry completely before embossing it, or if you are like me- impatient,  just use your blow dryer since your heat gun is to hot for the vellum and it could wrinkle.

Here are all the pieces together, before gluing. Notice, I changed the ribbon from pink to white. I think it looks better, what do you think?

... and here's my sweet card ready to be sent off to a special friend.
Notice that I added a white die cut piece before my vellum die cut... is to make the color more subtle and soft.
Wahoo! This was so easy to do! This is another way to use your SP Stamps to make beautiful projects every time.

Thanks for stopping by!
