Simple Pop-Up Card

Hi, everyone!  It's Kelli and today I have a simple pop-up card to share with you.  These are really so easy and add a lot of fun to your card.  I used the For Every Woman set for the main image and sentiment on the front and for the pop-up element inside I used the brand new Even Bolder Sentiments: Mother's Day single stamp.  All the patterned paper is from the Echo Park - Dots & Stripes Candy Shoppe 6x6 Pad.

This picture shows the card base with the score line for the fold, but I already made the two cuts for the pop-up feature.  Basically you want to cut an equal amount on either side of the fold.  Mine is about 3/4" on either side making each slit 1 1/2" long.  Then you just want to fold that little strip inwards so it folds inside of the card.  You can adjust the width and length of the slits for any size element.  I just wanted it to be really small since I was only going to be putting a little sentiment on there.

Here's the view of the inside of the card before anything else is attached.  To cover up the hole that it makes when viewed from the outside I just covered the front with patterned paper and the back with a piece of white card stock.  Easy peasy!  :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!!!  :)
