Today I have made you a card using the Mustache Madness stamp set. . . but it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with Mustaches! I designed the Mustache Madness in a manner that you do NOT have to use the sentiments along with the Mustache Pun!
I love stamp sets that are versatile so I do my best to make the SP stamp sets super versatile. The Mustache Madness stamp set is no exception.
Here is my finished card:
Labels Nine Nestabilities to create the label shapes. I cut out the largest one from one of the patterned papers in the Hello Spring mini collection kit from Echo Park. Then I cut the next smallest size in some textured cardstock from American Crafts.
On the textured cardstock, I used the Diamond Background to stamp a pattern. I used VersaMark ink so that the diamonds left a tone on tone effect. The pattern is noticeable, yet on the subtle side.
I actually didn't have any yellow paper handy, so I used one of my Copics to color a strip of white cardstock. I used the Copic Y35. Then I stamped the strip with a sentiment from the Mustache Madness stamp set & added a butterfly sticker element from the Hello Spring mini collection.
For the white cardstock base, I used an embossing folder from my stash to add some decoration to the cardstock.
I added the lables shape off center and then chopped off the sections that hung over the edge of the card.
Having the shape off center gives the card a bit of visual interest!
Here is what I did to the inside. I just added the big Happy Birthday stamp from the Mustache Madness stamp set. Super duper simple!
Here is another look at the finished card:
All in all, this project was very easy to make, but it has a lot of color and visual interest. Even if you don't love the mustache trend, I am sure you will love this stamp set. It has a bunch of great sentiments in it!
