Heartfelt Condolences Card

Hi everyone! Samantha here, bringing you a new project. This is a card I had to make for one of my besties. She unfortunately lost one of her furry babies so I made this to send to her. She had sent me a card when my fur baby passed away a few years ago & it meant so much to me so I wanted to do the same for her.

I used the new Baby Bella Dog single stamp for the dog image. I colored her in with the lightest Copics in the W family because the doggie was white.  Then I colored the rest and cut the image out.

The sentiment is from the Sympathy & Care stamp set. This is the perfect set for those sad occasions that happen in life. I used the largest of the Labels Nine Nestabilities die to cut out the section that the sentiment is on. I cut the bottom part off of the label so that I could put the shape right against the edge at the bottom.

The patterned papers are from the brand new Echo Park mini collection kit called Hello Spring. I wanted to use soft colors so this paper worked great for that.

EXPERT TIP: Mix and match SP stamp sets to create a card to suit your needs! I combined a single image with the sympathy set to make a doggie sympathy card. SP stamp sets are so versatile and can be used together.

I hope that you enjoyed my project and tip today. Tomorrow we are going to have a fabulous guest designer so make sure you stop back by and see what she has to share with you!

Tamie has a fun and cheery Mother's Day card to share today on her blog!
