Wiggles and Wings

Hello!  Hello!  I'm Melanie Rozwood and I was chosen by Sami to be the Guest Designer for today.  Sami's products are great so it's no surprise that I had a lot of fun using the Stitchery Doo stamp set to make this Busy Bee card.

First I used the double stitch stamp.  I stamped the image tightly in a row 7-8 times.

Then I used my die cut image (bee) to make sure I covered enough area with the stamp.

Once I verified everything would fit, I made additional stamped sets for the other bees.  Then I fussy cut the stamped area and attached it to the die cut.

Once the bees were assembled, I took the medium straight stitch and applied it to the clear block.  I laid it on the block with curves, not straight.  Make sure the whole stamp is on the block; you don’t want it to come off or have the outer stamp get ink on it.  Then stamp the curvy line onto your project.  If you are doing different lengths, I recommend doing the shortest first.

Lastly, adhere the die cuts and any other elements.  It was super easy and looks really neat.

I love using products in a unique way and I think the Stitchery Doo stamp set is a great tool for any project.  Thanks again to Sami for providing us with great stamps and for letting me participate on her blog.
