Text Pattern

Good morning, lovely peeps! Vera here. Today is my turn to share a fancy post.

When I make cards, I tend to stick to my clean and simple style. But, as I am sure many of you agree, you can do CAS card while still packing a punch. :)

Here's my card for today.

Echo Park

Do you notice anything about the flower? Here's a close up look of the flower.

See the pretty text patterns? I created my own text background.

Here's the how to for this card:
1. Cut a strip of patterned paper and adhere to card.
2. Stamp flower on a piece of cardstock and color with markers.
3. Pick a sentiment stamp (I used "Thanks for being you" from For Every Woman set) and stamp it repeatedly on the flower. This technique is great if you want to get a text background and you don't have a text background stamp. And even better, you can create the text pattern using any sentiments you have. More option and save you money from having to have text background for each occasions. :)
4. Fussy cut the flower an adhere to card with pop-dots.
5. Stamp the vase part on a piece of vellum, fussy cut it, and layer it on top of the first stamped vase that's already on the card. Add some scribble on the vellum with marker to create the water look.
6. Stamp sentiment.

So, what do you think? I hope you like it. There's so many option with this technique and I hope you will give it a try.

That's it from me for today. As this post go up, I should be up in the air on my way to Indonesia for my brother's wedding. Wish me safe travel and I'll see you all when I come back. Thank you for stopping by here. Have a great weekend, everyone.
