So Lucky

Hi everyone - Vicki here with another Fancy Post.  Today, we are going to make our own stamped background panel.  First off, I would like to share with you a tool I use literally almost everyday!

This Tool will help you to center your panels on your card bases in an even, attractive manner.
(Thanks to Susan over at Simplicity for this)  Meanwhile, with this matting tool in mind, we are going to make the following card;
Step 1
Take any scrap paper you have, with the colors you like, and stamp them with Bold Houndstooth BG.  Don't worry about what size your scraps are.

Step 2

Layout your scraps over another piece of cardstock in the SIZE of mat you want to use. [ In my case, I used 3.75 x 2.5.]  Adhere your stamped cardstock to your mat, and trim down to your mat size.  Add a border of a matching color 1/8th bigger then your mat size.

I used the fun Lucky Mini stamp set  with my first svg cuts.  Can I just tell you SVG's ROCK!!  No scissors make me really happy!  Let my cutter do all that work. The SVG cut files used on this project will be added to the SP Store later this week!

Here is the finished project again.

I hope I have given you some great learning tools and ideas today.  Thanks so much for coming by~
