What you'll need to do first is download the calendar template. Amber, of Damask Love, recently made printable calendar templates in many different sizes and styles. You can find them HERE on her blog. (by the way, you should definitely poke around while you are there- her stuff is awesome!). The one I used was the "Business Card Sized Desk Calendar."
Start by printing out the cards- it only takes 2 pieces of cardstock to get the full 12 months.
Once you've done that, go ahead and stamp each month with the Large Polka Dots Background, each in a different color. I also clear embossed over them for added texture:
(hmm...Feb and March look like the same color in the picture, but I promise they are slightly different shades!)
Then, cut them all to size with a paper trimmer:
I could have left them alone at this point, but I felt they need a little something extra. So I decided to add a black mat to each one:
