Custom Washi Tape

Hey folks, it's Jen here today!  I have a quick and easy way to make your own custom washi tape- you may have seen this technique before, and it really is a goody!

Start off by stamping plain tissue paper with any images you like- I went with the Ornamental Trees (don't just think of that set as a holiday set- those patterns are so versatile!).  You could also stamp on colored tissue paper for a different look.



I like my washi tape textured, so I crumpled up my tissue paper:

Next, adhere a strip of double sided tape to the back of the stamped tissue paper.

Carefully cut along the edge of the tape

Finished washi tape!

You can use your new tape on your projects any way you like:
